Our work

We build for schools, distributors, clinics and device makers. Their names and numbers stay with them.

Genbays has clients in education, trading and distribution, hospitals and clinics, and medical devices. Their workflows, customers and figures are their business, so we don't publish them. This page shows the work by its shape instead: what was slow, what we built, and how you can check us before you sign anything.

Where we've worked, and what we usually find

The sectors are real. Each row describes the work: what was slow and what we built. Names and figures are left out.

  1. What was slow

Finding the right suppliers, comparing their prices line by line, and reading supplier and vendor documents to type them into the CRM they already used. Then raising sales orders, purchase orders, invoices and bills by hand as the volume grew.

    What we built

An assistant built to choose the best supplier against the conditions their sourcing team sets. Supplier and vendor documents parsed, verified and pushed straight into their CRM. Sales orders, purchase orders, invoices and bills raised from the same record, however many there are. And an HR system built around how their people actually work.

  2. What was slow

Attendance, admissions, fees, staff records and notices each kept in a different register, spreadsheet or WhatsApp group, with parents and staff calling the office to find out what's going on.

    What we built

One system that runs the whole school. Connected to the attendance system they already had, so the register fills itself. Announcements sent in the app and on WhatsApp. Routine jobs automated, reports that build themselves, HR for every member of staff, and separate apps for parents and for staff.

  3. What was slow

Front desk, billing and records each kept somewhere different and matched up by hand at the end of the day.

    What we built

Visits, bills and records joined up, so the day closes from the system and nobody stays late with a pile of paper.

  4. What was slow

Quality, batch and service records pulled together by hand whenever an auditor or a distributor asks.

    What we built

Records captured as the work happens, with a trail an auditor can follow, so the pack comes out of the system.

How to check us before you sign

The strongest evidence

A map of your own workflow.

Another firm's result tells you little about your business. The Study shows you where your own week goes, step by step, with the slow parts marked. You keep the map whether or not we build anything.

Book your workflow review

Talk to a client

Ask on the first call. Where a client agrees, we'll put you in touch and stay off the line while you talk.

See the software

We'll screen-share things we've built under an NDA, with dummy data in place of the client's.

The same rule covers you

You won't find another client's name on this site, and yours won't appear either. We don't publish your name, your workflow or your figures without your written permission, and we don't show your data to anyone to win other work.

Questions people ask us

Why don't you name your clients?

Because their workflows and figures belong to them. Most of what we build touches their customers, patients, students or prices. If a client agrees to a write-up, it'll appear here.

Which industries have you worked in?

Education, trading and distribution, hospitals and clinics, and medical devices. The method isn't tied to a sector, so we take on work in others too.

Can I speak to someone you've built for?

Ask on the first call. Where a client agrees, we'll arrange it and we won't sit in.

Will you write up our project?

Only with your written permission, and only the parts you approve. You can stay anonymous.
