Strictly necessary

These keep the site safe to use. They don't need your consent, and there's no way to turn them off short of blocking cookies in your browser, which the site survives.

Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage, not a cookie. It never leaves your device.

Analytics, with your consent

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It records the pages you view, the site you came from, your browser and device, and your approximate location, and it sets cookies that give your browser a random ID so repeat visits can be counted. We don't send it your name, email or anything you type into our forms.

Google Analytics loads only after you agree to it. If you say no, or ignore the question, none of its cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google.

Google keeps the analytics data for 14 months and then deletes it. Google is listed on our sub-processor page.

Marketing and embeds

None. We don't run advertising pixels, retargeting tags, social-media buttons that report back, or chat widgets that track. WhatsApp links open WhatsApp and set nothing here.

If we ever add a video or map embed, it will be a click-to-load placeholder. Nothing from that provider runs until you click it, and the placeholder says what will be loaded.

If we ever add a marketing cookie, this page will list it first, it will be off by default, and you'll be asked before it's set, with No as easy to press as Yes.

How to change your choices

Change your analytics choice at any time from the Privacy preferences link in the footer. If you switch from yes to no, the site stops sending anything to Google at once and removes the Google Analytics cookies it can reach. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site works either way.
